This website is devoted to Djinn Oakstar Rayn Buckingham. It is intended to show who he really is, to give you the facts and clear up the fictions surrounding him. It is also intended to bring attention to his case, to also aid and support his fight for freedom.
He is not the monster the media and gossipers have made him out to be...
This labor of love will tell Djinn's story, from beginning to end.
Djinn is simply a child who, as most children do, had some issues to deal with and those issues turned into a snowball that engulfed, not only him, but his entire family in a horrible nightmare!
Djinn is not the "troubled and or problem child" created by, labeled and portrayed as, by the media. He is an intelligent, talented, creative, loving, caring, funny, athletic, and absolutely a one-of-a-kind young man. This was the real Djinn, the one before he was forced by doctors to take many drugs that were "untested" on children, which drastically altered everything about him and turned him into a "special needs child."
Djinn Buckingham was arrested at the age of 12, charged with arson and murder, and other related offenses. Djinn was questioned and interrogated by the Pennsylvania State Police and Fire Marshal for 3 hours. He was questioned without presence of counsel or parental involvement. Djinn was tired and scared, when the interrogators did not hear what they wanted they forced Djinn to engage in a "fantasy game" line of questioning in which a fictitious statement was created.
Djinn stated he confessed to nothing and DID NOT start the fire in which his beloved cousin Sierra was killed. He was just giving the questioners simple statements, to what he thought was a fictitious line of questioning, to stop the badgering by these two seasoned interrogators.
The only evidence against Djinn is this confession, no physical evidence tying Djinn to this fire and subsequent death was presented.
Djinn is simply a child who has had that childhood ripped away from him in a very harsh and inhumane manner. He is a child in desperate need of healing and love.
We can bring this nightmare to an end before his entire teenage life is spent incarcerated.
